How we write and check our guides

Our guides help you prepare a home and choose a plan. This page explains where their facts come from, what we have and haven’t checked ourselves, and how to tell us when something is wrong.

Who writes the guides

Pages are written and maintained by the Ontario IPTV editorial team, which works on behalf of this site and its seller, IPTV Services. We use an organizational byline rather than inventing individual author profiles.

Where facts come from

  • Regulators and government: the CRTC and the Government of Canada for broadband context and consumer tools.
  • Manufacturers: device and router makers’ own support pages for settings, ports and app stores.
  • The seller: IPTV Services’ live checkout, trial, terms and refund pages for anything about orders. We quote what those pages said on the date shown.
  • Owner-confirmed product facts: the catalogue description (22,000+ live TV channels; 100,000+ movie and series titles (combined)) was confirmed by the site owner on 14 October 2026. It is the provider’s description, not something we counted.

Each guide lists its sources at the end with the date we last checked them. Search data used to plan topics (for example, how often people in Canada search “IPTV Toronto”) shapes what we write about, but it never appears as a claim about the service.

What we have and haven’t tested

We haven’t lab-tested IPTV Services’ streams across Ontario networks, and we don’t publish speed, uptime or buffering measurements. Network advice in our guides is preparation — how to measure your own connection — not a prediction of how the service will perform for you.

Device instructions are general steps based on manufacturers’ documentation. Menus differ between models and software versions, so where we couldn’t confirm an exact menu path, we describe what to look for instead of inventing click-by-click steps. Open verification items are tracked and the guides are updated when they’re confirmed.

What we won’t publish

  • Reviews, testimonials, star ratings, customer counts or awards we can’t verify.
  • “Best” or “number one” labels without a stated use case and method. When we discuss whether this is the right IPTV option for an Ontario home, we explain the criteria and leave the decision to you.
  • Promises about specific channels, sports, picture quality or buffer-free playback.
  • Advice on getting around internet-provider controls, regional restrictions or sports broadcast rights.
  • Pages copied from competitors, or near-identical city pages with the place name swapped.

Commercial relationship

ontarioiptv.io refers customers to IPTV Services. Plan buttons link to IPTV Services’ checkout with tracking parameters that identify this site. That relationship is why the site exists; it doesn’t change what the sources say, and we show the same prices and conditions the checkout uses.

Updates and corrections

Each guide shows when it was published and when its sources were last checked. If you spot an error or an outdated instruction, email contact@iptvservices.online with the page address and what’s wrong. We correct factual errors and update the date shown on the page.
